ISO 22000: 2005 is an international standard developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and specifies the requirements of a food safety management system. It is applied by food industry organisations to ensure that their food products are safe for consumption with a view to eliminating or limiting the likelihood of consumer health risks.
